Fredrick Douglas once said, “It is easier to build strong children than to  repair broken men”, an idea that I believe to the core of my heart.  Children are so easily influenced, if put with the right caring people,  their lives would be changed forever. My name is Ricardo Perry, the  founder and director of Connections and You, Inc. (CYI). I believe that  children need consistent, positive and influential people in their lives to effect change.

One of our biggest problems when it comes to our children is the lack of  positive influence. CYI is here to be a solution to that problem. Truth  is, the world is full of good, sound, and moral people. Imagine if each  of these individuals connected with just one child. Also imagine that  caring adult being there for them, encouraging them, helping them set  goals and becoming successful. What would our world be like if that  happened?

CYI has made it our mission to bring together positive adults with children in order to make our world better. Join us in this effort, contact us  for more information. Children are a gift from God; it is our job to  care for them. It will always take a village to raise a child, you my  friend, are part of that village!
